Jeff Davis the "Hobo King" in a 1917 REO touring car. He founded the “Hobos of America” and styled himself “King of the Hobos and Emperor of the Knights of the Road”. He created a chain of hotels called “Hotel De Gink” across the country as temporary housing for the homeless and runaways. Glass negative by the National Photo Company August 30th 1924.
